Browser Home Pages

Do you use a home page? Why? When you turn on the TV does it always return to the same starting point? How about with a radio, a book, a magazine? So why do you have a start page? It only slows you down while you wait for it to load each time you start Internet Explorer. Why not start with a blank page and surf to where you want from there?

Here is how to do change from a home page to a blank page in Internet Explorer:

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click on Tools - Internet Options...

3. Make certain the General Tab is selected.

4. Click on the Use Blank button in the Home page section on the top third of the page.

5. Click the OK button at the bottom of the page.

Now Internet Explorer will open faster and you can browse to the page you really want much faster.
